The NPCC Lead for Asset Recovery and Deputy Commissioner for the City of London Police, Nik Adams, said: “Crime should never pay. The Asset Management Office has been established to ensure that assets seized from criminals are managed consistently, professionally and transparently across policing."
“This is about strengthening the system, bringing national coordination, improving standards, and ensuring that the UK meets international expectations while denying criminals the benefit of their actions."
